Free Printable Kids Fruits and Veggies Checklist

Get your kids to join the healthier you! This is our weekly kids fruit and veggies checklist. Start your children early with the healthy habits and help them see whether they’re eating enough fruits and veggies each week. This checklist will also help them get excited for the next week’s groceries.
Because God also loves your children, He also wants them to –
live life to the fullest (John 10:10);
love themselves (Matthew 22:39);
be in good health (3 John 2/Luke 2:52); and to,
taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8).
Again, all of these flows from being in a loving relationship with Jesus, as their Lord and Savior:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 ESV

Instructions for Your Kids
There are 9 blank rewards ribbon spaces for them to write or draw the fruits and vegetables they had for the week. If they had more than 9, they can put 2 or more fruits and veggies together in one blank space. Encourage them with this healthy habit of completing the kids fruits and veggies checklist each week before you do your groceries.
Explain to your children how one of our wellness mentors taught us to always have 6-9 servings of fruits and vegetables in every meal. One serving is equivalent to a fist-size serving (your fist), which is supposedly to be also the size of your heart. And also, to have a variety of at least 11-14 different kinds of fruits and veggies each week. To make it easier, our mentor adds – include your favorites in your weekly list then rotate with other varieties.
Having different colors of fruits and vegetables is one way of knowing you have a good variety. Simplify as you wish to make this health goal achievable for your children. Always check with your children’s doctor or nutritionist for any fruits or vegetables they must avoid relating to their existing health conditions.

Welcome to SHAREALIFEVERSE.COM! I am Mae and this is my third blog and it’s all about inspiring Bible verses and printables. I have shared several Bible verses at my first blog PrintablesAndInspirations. God’s Word is important to me so I started this blog to create a place where I can share more about my Bible reflections and inspiring printables. I have also asked my sister to share her designs and inspirations here. We have both grown up knowing and loving Jesus as kids. Thanks for being here and I hope you accompany us in this journey as we all continue in our walk with God.
